North Shore Poke Company is a family-run business entirely dedicated to creating mind-blowing amazing Hawaiian poke that opened in March 2012 in Huntington Beach, CA. Just one block shy of Main Street. North Shore Poke Co is Orange County's first restaurant dedicated to just fresh Hawaiian style poke.

It was while serving in the Coast Guard Chef Shawn Gole caught the Poke bug and wondered why even Hawaiian restaurants on the mainland were overlooking this tasty fish offering. While on Oahu, Shawn on his days off would venture up to the North Shore to surf, hang with friends, or grab some local grinds in Haleiwa. The North Shore was his happy place. Surfing’s rich history of the seven mile miracle including the famous Pipeline drew Shawn into the magic. When Shawn thought of what he wanted to name his poke shop, it came to him as the waves called to him on the North Shore. It was his freedom and the history that created the culmination of North Shore Poke Co. (Fresh Fish Hawaiian Style). The 5 original sauces were named after the famous breaks of the “Seven Mile Miracle." Shawn teamed up with his girlfriend Morgan during covid to keep the business afloat and both of them kept the business running after all the employees had left during the pandemic. Morgan and Shawn (The dynamic duo) ran North Shore Poke for 2 years just the 2 of them to make ends meet during the challenging times. Morgan has become the aloha spirit and driving experience that we are lucky to have.
